The Tigers boasts three Newton’s in the seniors – father Mick is the Assistant Coach of A-grade and has coached senior teams at the club for over 5 years while his eldest son Tim is now an experienced A-grader having played four years in the top grade after coming through the juniors. Next brother in line is Brent who is playing his first year of Open rugby league and has been one of the first picked in the A-grade side all year. There is always great debate around the club about who is the best Newton, and with Timmy leaving us after this week’s game we thought we better get to the bottom of it!. 02/08/2012.
