Team Lists v Goodna, Round 17 IRL 2015

A shock loss to last-placed Fassifern last weekend has meant the Tigers A-Grade side must beat Goodna this Sunday to claim the minor premiership.

Read the QT match report >

Three weeks ago the Tigers sat atop the table with 11 wins and just 2 losses, however the last three weeks have seen two losses and a draw added to that record.

There’s no need for panic though. The first week of A-Grade finals are already decided despite two games left to play in the regular season.

Norths and Goodna will finish in the top two, while West End and Brothers will battle it out for third and fourth with neither side in danger of dropping out of finals contention.

That makes this week’s final home game an important one for the Tigers, who will want to finish in top spot and claim the minor premiership. The Tigers haven’t been able to beat Goodna in the two clashes this year and so this Sunday will be an absolute cracker.

Our Second Division will also take on Goodna, however will play on Saturday evening at Woogaroo Field. Goodna finished the regular season in first place and take on the fourth place Tigers in a qualifying final.

Up the Tigers!
