Team Lists v Brothers, IRL Round 15 2015

Well it is going to be a huge one this Sunday at Norths as A-Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 19s take on Brothers. Our Second Division side will take on the Bulldogs at Brothers on Saturday afternoon.

A-Grade managed to come from 20-10 down with 15 minutes to draw 20-20 against West End last week. The draw ended an eight match winning streak, however it has been nine matches now since the Tigers have been beaten and last week’s draw might be just the wake up that was needed. Read the QT match report from the Tigers v West End match >

A-Grade are missing key forwards Jacob Stephan and Tim Newton this weekend and as a result will call upon some talented Colts forwards in Jonathon Newton and Stuart McCabe to help fill the void. Jonathon Newton has played a handful of A-Grade games this year while McCabe will be looking to impress after being named to make his A-Grade debut.

This Sunday our victorious 1995 sides celebrate their 20 year reunion. Check out the Facebook event page for more details. Make sure you get down to Norths on and join the big crowd of Tigers fans cheering on our boys against Brothers!

The matches this Sunday will also raise funds for Ipswich Hospice. Each Tigers team and Brothers A-Grade will be wearing purple socks, which each player has purchased themselves, to raise funds for this worthy cause. Spectators can get involved and help raise funds by purchasing a raffle ticket on the day for a gold coin donation.

See you at the Den on Sunday!

A lackluster interchange forward who was part of the victorious Norths Tigers 2014 IRL A-Grade premiership team. Illustrious achievements include "Most Versatile Player Award" in Under 18s and was once named "player's player".
