Well finals time is here. Our A-Grade side finished in second spot and will take on Brothers next Sunday 31 August at the North Ipswich Reserve at 3pm. The winner will progress straight through to the Grand Final on Sunday 14 September, while the loser will get a second chance on Sunday 7 September against the winner of the Goodna v Fassifern clash.
Our Reserve Grade side, who needed to beat West End last Sunday to secure fourth place, ended up drawing with the Bulldogs 28-28. Due to Ipswich Rugby League rules, the two teams now must face off again tonight at Briggs Road Sporting Complex at 7pm, in a playoff to determine fourth place. Both teams finished the regular season on 17 points, with the Tigers for and against 34 while West End’s was -150.
Should the Reserve Grade side win, they will take on Swifts on Saturday 30 August at the North Ipswich Reserve in another sudden-death playoff.

ALSO – Our Women’s Rugby League Opens team will take on Beerwah, 3pm on Saturday at Norths. Come on down and support the Girls in their final home game of 2014, and last game before finals. Meals will be on at the club after the game, so enjoy a beautiful hot meal and a nice cold beverage!
