Norths Tigers A-Grade lock Chris Scanlan topped off an already amazing season by scooping many awards including the A-Grade Player of the Year and the titles of Best Forward and Best Defender in the Club at the recent awards night.
Flashy winger Anava Fesolai also picked up many awards including the Stumer Family Best Back in the Club and A-Grade Most Improved along with his awards for being the club’s highest try scorer.
It was a quiet night for Norths captain and IRL Player of the Year Josh Roberts who despite being named A-Grade Best and Fairest was overshadowed by the achievements of Scanlan and Fesolai.
What wasn’t a surprise however was Ritchie Lowe picking up Rookie of the Year and Player with the most Potential.
Wade Seden was named Reserve Grade’s best and fairest, while Spencer Fitzpatrick and Daniel Hamilton were awarded the best and fairest in Under 19s and Second Division respectfully.
