Hello one and all and welcome to the 2013 season.
I apologise for my first report taking so long to appear but we have all been busy working behind the scenes to have everything in place for a great 2013. Stepping into the role of President following Haugy means I have very big shoes to fill and I look forward to working with all of you to try and do the role of President and the Club justice.
Over the next couple of weeks I am hoping to meet with all of our sponsors to introduce myself and have a chat about my vision for our club moving forward. I see very exciting times ahead.
We have commenced our pre-season training and have been getting very promising numbers along so early in the football year. We have seen many familiar faces, along with plenty of new blood too, which is very encouraging as it shows we are a club that people want to be a part of.
I think the most significant thing for the club as a whole so far this year is the fact that we are finally home. It has been a long, hard and often frustrating road but we have made it and can now look forward to our first home fixture of 2013. It is a testament to all our volunteer’s, player’s, sponsor’s and supporter’s club spirit that we have stuck it out and made it home.
Again I would like to thank you all for your support in Season 2012 and look forward to working with you all for a triumphant return home to Tiger Town in Season 2013.
