Hello once more,
It’s Grand Final time! Norths will be represented this weekend in two grand finals. Our C Grade team take on Redbank Plains Friday night at 6.30pm and our Under 18s, after a resounding victory over Redbank Plains 34-14 last Sunday, will be taking on Brothers at 11.30am Sunday.
It’s a fantastic effort from everyone involved at the club to have two sides through to the big day, and having all four sides make it through to the playoffs. Well done to everyone involved.
It is a big weekend of football ahead with senior sides competing in Grand Finals Friday and Sunday and Junior sides playing in Preliminary finals Saturday at Briggs Road. It would be great to see the Blue and Gold Army out in force to cheer all our Tigers on.
Grand Final Breakfast
Norths leagues Club will be holding their traditional Grand Final Day Breakfast on Sunday morning from 10am. Breakfast will cost $10 and include all the usual big breakfast treats (i.e. bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, beans) to fuel you up for a big day at The Oval. After breakfast we will march on up the road to cheer our colts on as they look to go back-to-back in their hunt for premiership glory.
Presentation Night
Saturday September 21 Norths will be hosting their annual Presentation Night at the North Ipswich Reserve. Tickets will be $30pp and include a two course meal and entertainment. The Presentation Night information, including the invitation flyer will be posted on our website shortly. If you could all please RSVP as per the invitation would be greatly appreciated. It would be fantastic to see you all their to celebrate a great 2013.
