Norths take on Goodna this Sunday at Goodna in A-Grade and Reserve Grade.
A-Grade are currently sitting in third spot (21 points) and Goodna (22 points) in second. A win to Norths will mean the Tigers take 2nd spot with one round remaining before finals. However, it won’t be all that easy, with Goodna still a chance of the Minor Premiership, they have plenty to play for in front of their home fans.
As for Reserve Grade, a loss to Swifts last weekend now has them in fourth position, one point behind Swifts and tied with West End (on 16 points but with a better for and against). Goodna and Brothers are both well ahead in Reserve Grade (tied on 26 points), and with Swifts taking on West End this weekend, Norths will be looking to cause an upset. However, a loss to Goodna will not rule the team out of contention, with next weekend’s clash against West End shaping as a finals qualifier.
Our Under 19s season has ended after last weekend’s loss to Swifts, with the team unable to finish in the top four.
