Haug’s Breath: v Swifts Sun 3 June

After a win in all grades against West End last weekend, it was only C Grade that went down to Rosewood after leading 6-4 at the break. The C grade boys are having to contend with new players each week but are starting to form some good combinations both on and off the field.
Highlight for the day for me was having the under 7 players playing against West end. The little tigers really enjoyed playing and being involved with the seniors, should have seen their faces when Josh (A Grade Captain) led the team out through the junior tunnel giving the young Norths boys hi fives. I must thank everyone who helped out on the day from the ball boys to our loyal supporters cleaning up after the game.

This weekend we are split up with C Grade playing Springfield at Redbank Plains on Saturday at 5.30pm Under 18’s have the bye and Res and A Grade playing Swifts at Swifts on Sunday at 1.30pm and 3.00pm. We have several players out this weekend so it is the prime time to blood some of our up and coming Under 18’s into C, Res and A Grade. I know they will acquit themselves well as they did last week against West End, It certainly makes the future bright for the Tigers.

Next Weekend is our home game against Brothers at the North Ipswich Reserve. Should be a cracker, It is a long weekend to boot so we are organising meals entertainment and the courtesy bus for back at the Den on Sunday Night. This will also be our Sponsors Day, I encourage all sponsors to attend the day as we have set up a corporate box for you to be in as well as food and refreshments, I will try and get an invite out this weekend.
Up the Tigers
