Team Lists: IRL Round 16 2017

The Tigers take on Eastern Cobras this Sunday at Redbank in A-Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 19s while our Open Womens side do battle at Wynnum on Saturday.

A-Grade suffered a draw against Swifts last weekend after a penalty goal after the final siren saw Swifts retain the Harry Langer Shield. Despite being 10-4 down at halftime, Norths rallied to lead 16-14 with just seconds remaining.

Fassifern and Goodna are on 39 points in first and second places with Norths on 36 points in third. With five matches and a bye still remaining there is still plenty of chances for the Tigers to secure a top two finish.

Reserve Grade went down 24-16 and now sit 3 points outside the top four in sixth, with this week’s opposition the Eastern Cobras in fourth.

After a bye last weekend, our table-topping under 19s return to the field against the Cobras. It will be a closely fought battle for the minor premiership in the Colts, with just three points separating first from fourth.

Our Open Women’s team will be looking to bounce back after last week’s 24-10 loss to Carina.

Glory glory to the Tigers!

A lackluster interchange forward who was part of the victorious Norths Tigers 2014 IRL A-Grade premiership team. Illustrious achievements include "Most Versatile Player Award" in Under 18s and was once named "player's player".
