Ritchie’s Rant : Norths Update : Final Round

Hello once more,

This weekend sees the final round of regular season games for Season 2013. I’d like to thank everyone for their contributions and efforts this year, they have been greatly appreciated. All four grades are still alive in Season 2013, with the Under 18s looking set to take out the Minor Premiership on Sunday; A Grade now safely in the top four after Fassifern’s loss last weekend; C Grade assured of a finals berth; and Reserve Grade effectively starting their finals campaign against Fassifern this Sunday, as fourth plays fifth, with the winner sneaking into the finals.

This Sunday is also Norths Ladies Day. Norths would like to invite all of our wonderful female supporters, our mothers, daughters, wives, sisters and partners to join us at our last home game of the season in our Ladies Marquee.

Cost of entry will be $25 and will include: 3 hours of table service (from 2pm until the end of A Grade) including wine, soft drinks and finger food, game day entry and entries into our lucky door prize draw. Don’t forget that Norths Leagues Club now have their courtesy bus available. If you would like to enjoy a few wines without the hassle of driving then pre-book a ride to the game on our courtesy bus.

IRL Grand Final Weekend – Friday the 6^th – Sunday the 8^th September.

This year’s Open Division (C Grade) Grand Finals are currently slated for Friday the 6^th. They may revert to Saturday the 7^th, but that is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, Sunday the 8^th will see A Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 18s Contest their Grand Finals. Here’s hoping we are cheering our boys on in all four grades.

Presentation Night 2013 – Saturday the 21^st September.

The night will be held at the North Ipswich Reserve Conference Centre. More details will follow in the coming weeks.
