Hello once more,
After a successful weekend, with wins in all grades, this week we look to face a real test against brothers in A Grade, Reserves and Under 18s and against ladder leaders Redbank Plains in C Grade. Last weekend’s success has come at a cost with a number of players ruled out through injury, most notably Nathan Carney, whose foot is now in a moon boot as he awaits the final prognosis.
All our matches are away this Saturday with all grades except C taking on the Brethren. Game times for all grades are:
A Grade Vs Brothers @ Brothers 7pm.
Reserve Grade Vs Brothers @ Brothers 5.30pm
Under 18s Vs Brothers @ Brothers 4pm
C Grade Vs Redbank Plains @ Redbank Plains 4pm
Saturday is also Matty Dennis Day at Brothers and will see our A Grade side defending the Matty Dennis Trophy which they won last year in the corresponding fixture. I’m sure the boys will lift to try and keep as little silverware in the Brothers trophy cabinet as possible. With all grades still in contention for finals, and all but Reserve grade still a chance of a top two finish, this weekend could really be crucial to our overall position come finals time.
