Hi All, Our weekend of footy was a mixed one with our C Grade having their first outing against Lowood, although the boys tried hard, you could tell they were thrown together at the last moment. They will be better for the run and are the only team playing this weekend at the Oval at 12.45pm against Swifts.
Always a hard trip to Harrisville, all teams played well and the crowd certainly enjoyed their footy. Under 18’s had a good win against Redbank, Reserve Grade had a nail biting win against Fassifern and A Grade started slow took the lead in a see sawing match only to be run down in the last 5 minutes.
No Games this weekend apart from C Grade as Representative matches are on, good luck to our boys that are representing the city this weekend.
Our Next game is against Goodna at Goodna on the 20th that is the end of round 1 and hopefully we will be back on our grounds in round 2. Our training shirts are finalised and have been ordered, (see below) they look great, thanks to all sponsors on the training shirt without you the job of running the club would be near impossible.
