Norths take on Swifts this Saturday night in the final home game for the Tigers. A-Grade will be looking to keep the wins coming as finals draw near, especially as a top two finish is in the grasp. A win this weekend means A-Grade will finish no lower than third (currently 19 points), however with Brothers taking on Goodna (both on 22 points) this weekend and Norths to play Goodna next weekend, the A-Grade side has an opportunity to sneak into the top two.
Norths take on Goodna and West End in the final two rounds of the season.
Reserve Grade will be looking to cement their place in the top four with another win. The team holds third place by just one point ahead of Swifts, so this weekend’s match is a crucial one, with West End also snapping at their heels.
The Under 19s unfortunately are out of finals contention after last weekend’s loss to West End. They will look to finish the season strong but face tough opposition in Swifts (1st) and Goodna (3rd) before finishing the season with a bye.
Unfortunately our Second Division team failed to make the finals, so their season has drawn to a close. Many of the players however are still training and supporting the Reserve Grade team.
So there is plenty to play for and plenty on the line as Norths take on Swifts this Saturday night. Get down to the club and show your support for our Tigers for the last time at home in 2014.
