Team Lists: IRL Finals Week 1 2017

Finals time is upon us, and A-Grade enter this weekend’s elimination final against Swifts on the back of defeating minor premiers Fassifern Bombers out at the Bomber’s home base last weekend.

A-Grade touched up the Bombers 36-22 in front of the Fassifern home crowd. Unfortunately though it doesn’t mean much this week as finals are a whole new ball game. Norths take on Swifts, who finished in fourth place just 4 points behind, with the winner to take on the loser of the Fassifern v Goodna clash in the second week of finals.

Unfortunately our Reserve Grade side suffered a 26-20 loss to Fassifern on Sunday with along with other results in the Reserve Grade competition meant they fell to 5th, just 1 point behind Swifts in fourth.

Our Under 19s finished second and will take on first-placed Goodna this weekend, with the winner going straight through to the Grand Final.

Glory glory to the Tigers!
